Yesterday, I received a request to translate the nickname: ‘Dark Man’.
In Arabic, the words’ order makes that ‘the man’ comes before the adjective ‘dark’.
Man is ‘rajol’. Dark -in the sense requested- is ‘ghaamed’.
The two combined sound like: ‘arrajol al-ghaamed’.
