Sylvester

sylvester

There is no “V” in Arabic, thus the name “Sylvester” is read more like “Sylfester”.

Larry

“Larry” has no equivalent name in Arabic. The name “Larry” is composed of 4 letters in Arabic.
You see -from left to right obviously-: “L” attached to “A”, then “R”, then “Y” with 2 dots beneath it.

Heidi

The first name transliteration request I got is for Heidi.

The name “Heidi” has no equivalent I know of in Arabic. However, it’s funny how it sounds like the Lebanese Arabic word for “this” or “that”.
